How I install nvidia drivers version 535 correctly?

Garuda has some tools to manage nvidia drivers, but I didn’t found out how to use them.

Also I tried “downgrade” that was suggested in another topic here, but seemly it doesn’t go back all the way to 535.

People made some AUR packages with other versions, but 535 is not one of them.

So how I do that?

As for those that will suggest me to not do this… It is not by choice, I am fixing a program that for some reason only runs on 535. I have to first get it to run so I know what it is supposed to do, then I will get on fixing whatever bug makes it not run on other versions. (so… if someone knows how to have two drivers and switch between them easily, it would be great, since what I want to do is exactly fix whatever makes the program not work in other versions aside from 535)

Can you please post your garuda-inxi so we can see what card you have? It would help us greatly so we can properly help you. Thanks

for Black smith wukong ??

paru -S nvidia-535xx-dkms nvidia-535xx-utils nvidia-535xx-settings libxnvctrl-535xx

The only way to switch between two drivers is to maintain 2 snapshots.
load the one that you want to use.

I had to first manually remove some garuda nvidia meta packages, but after that this command did the trick
