How do I make the tilte bar show up when maximizing windows?

Hello.

I just reinstalled Garuda because something happened to my computer.

But I want to configure windows so that they show the title bar and its buttons even when maximized, which they don’t.

I’ve already searched for solutions but they point to latte configuration and it seems Garuda doesn’t use Latte anymore.

I’ve also tried checking the configuration windows where you edit the title bar buttons to decide their kind, order, and placement, but there’s nothing in there that seems to help.

Help please.

Ty.

here’s my garuda-inxi:

IIRC, the problem was solved many times in the forum.
Latte dock is not the problem. Just something in the kwinrc?

hello.

i’ve edited my message to add the garuda-inxi. i thought it would not be necessary for something like this.

i’ve searched and found like five thread. two had solutions but they were related to latte, the others were closed for some reason before a solution was given.

Thank you. This is the solution. Ty very much.

i really searched before but didn’t saw this.

Here’s the solution in case you don’t want to open that thread:

Try opening `~/.config/kwinrc`
and go to section `[Windows]`.
Set `BorderlessMaximizedWindows=false`,
logout and login.
