How can I open the terminal on start

I need to open my terminal on start because I will update my graphic card and it says when something use your card you can not update it

There are several methods - search term that should work is linux boot to console.

Switching to runlevel 3 at the Grub2 boot menu may be the method you are looking for:

I suspect you are using the wrong approach to update the drivers - nothing in Garuda will provide that error message.

Do not install using the download from the NVIDIA site. Instead, stick to the provided packages. Otherwise, why bother using a Linux distribution that has packages specifically for this purpose?
