Hop this kind of crap isn't coming to Garuda

My first thought when I saw that was RANI. I’m truly disappointed in Endeavour over this BS.

I think the term AI generally makes us all feel like throwing up (me included).

Change is however inevitable in the long run - for context, yahoo could have seen the potential of google. Blockbuster could have seen the threat Netflix posed.

– I like the offline use of LLM which he has stated.
-I do not however trust llm’s but I do like their opinion.

& I probably never want them included as default packages

I think the tough question is can we accept slowly that change is coming ??

I for one think that open source voice generation software can perform better accessability functions than that linux voice command that has been there

& thats my dillemma

Also My point here, I ain’t defending but…
I don’t see how Endaevour’s to be blamed here. Had it been the Devs themselves pushing it down users throat it would have been understandable (heck that would have made news!)

I think that criticism can be conveyed in a much better way @Locutus. This counts for this thread, as well as your comment on the Endeavour side. And it’s also not the first time I’ve witnessed this. Get your shit together and show some ■■■■ing respect.

This being said, no, it is not being planned in any way.

That project has nothing to do with EndeavourOS, somebody just posted about it on their forum.

The was is nothing wrong with my post there or here.

I do wish they would still have a physical form of storage. Amazon sells Windows on USB sticks. We need more, like look at Switch cartridges, be nice to be able to buy any software like that. Or a movie,1 could have all 3 Lord of the Rings & prob. Hobbits in 4k surround sound.
