Hello everyone.
I installed Garuda Linux and during the installation I created a swap partition so I could hibernate the system. However, my PC isn’t hibernating. I’ve followed several guides and tried to configure it, but without success. Below I detail my situation and what I’ve tried.
My hardware configuration:
- Disc model: KBG50ZNS512G NVMe KIOXIA 512GB
- RAM: 16 GB
Partition configuration (output of
sudo fdisk -l):

Swap status (output of
sudo swapon --show):

I have two active swap devices: zram (in memory) and my actual swap partition. The zram has a priority of 100, while my swap partition has a priority of -2.

This is what I’ve already tried:
Temporarily disable zram:
sudo swapoff /dev/zram0
Configure the priority in fstab
"I’m new to this distro and honestly, I don’t know if Garuda provides any tool that might facilitate fixing this issue.
I’ve already broken the system twice trying to fix it, which forced me to restore from a backup.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you. ^_^"
