Hello , I just recently switched from Windows 11 to Garuda , and i am loving it right now . But , my Laptop comes with Nahimic Audio Driver and I haven’t found any linux version for it ( as far as i know it doesnt exists at all ) .
Audio works but it is much quieter and also the quality is generally much lower . Is there any alternative to the driver , and if there isn’t , then is there a way to do that kind of enhancement in Linux ?
Thanks a lot for your support!
Hi there, welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately, at a quick search, it looks like Nahimic does not support Linux at all. I don’t think there is much you can do about it.
Maybe give a look at Easyeffects. Check here:

In general, and particularly for issues like this, don’t forget to include the output of garuda-inxi, as required in the topic template.
hey just a quick question ( And a dumb one ) , What audio driver is being used instead of the Nahimic audio driver ? Is it just something generic?
Normally it is ALSA, provided by the Linux kernel.
An overview, with useful links is here

That’s why, to see what you have, we require to include in new topics the output of garuda-inxi (see template)…
