Hi, I can’t move this post to Issues & Assistance > Games & Emulators until you translate your problem to English.
Here is the template you are missing

Hi, I like to play CS2, how to optimize my mouse for less crashes and how to optimize my entire PC to improve performance RTX 4080 processor AMD 7 7800x3D monitor Zowie 240 Hz

What optimizations on a OS level you are actually talking about?

Your HW is already overkill for CS2. If you installed Garuda Gaming edition, it already comes with performance based tweaks. Basically the OS is out of the box optimized for performance/gaming.

If you are looking for more FPS, than just go into CS2 graphic settings and play with the settings for the game itself until you reach desired fps/visual ratio.

And what do you mean by “optimize my mouse for less crashes” ?

His Spanish is already bad and the English translation is even worse.

The OP asks how he can reduce the input lag of the mouse.

aaah okay that gives sense

Well I would start with setting the correct Refresh Rate for the DE ;).

Its kinda hard to believe but a lot of people I know complained about laggyness in Linux due to wrongly set refresh rate for High refresh rate monitors

Dunno if its as well the OP case.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I have a 240 Hz monitor and an 8000 Hz mouse and I would like to be able to take advantage of this technology and I don’t see or feel when playing that this technology is working correctly in Linux Garuda. What do I have to install for this technology to work correctly?

If people here don’t know exactly what hardware is being used, it’s hard to give advice on the best way to configure it.
Posting Garuda-inxi would be very helpful.

Most likely its due to this

But as is custom, and as it was pointed by Apocalypticus provide garuda-inxi. Run it from the CLI and paste the output here formatted in code

Thanks for answering, I’ll do some research to see what the CLI is. As I said, I’m a newbie. I’ll do some research and then post the result.

CLI = konsole

You can find it on the task bar on the bottom of the screen usually.

You should try the application Piper. It is in the garuda gamer app. If your mouse is supported for it you will be able to tweak all of its settings.

For the monitor, Right click on empty desktop and click Display Configuration. From there you can change the refresh rate. I suggest turning off Adaptive Sync if you have any weird glitching.

Thanks for your reply, the Piper app is not compatible with my mouse.

Hi, I want to use Google’s DNS as default and I can’t really do it. I don’t know how to change it. Please help.

That is simple a lot of things can be configured via the “Garuda Assistant”

Open it and click on the “Settings TAB” there you have DNS and you can choose which one you want.

Please, ONE issue per topic - otherwise this will get confusing here.

First and foremost, this should be about CS2. If you have other issues, please open a new topic for them.

Thanks for your reply, I will continue trying to change the DNS
