Hello from the South West US

Hey all, I'm new to Garuda but not to linux.

I was first introduced to Linux by an old job that used Ubuntu for all the workstations and started taking in interest when I saw our 2 techies doing some really fascinating things and my curiosity turned into my position going from warehouse worker to junior dev. I've pretty much been on Ubunutu for the last few years (with exception to gaming on Windows) and lately I've been playing with ParrotSec and HTB. I recently got a laptop and wanted something a little different and found out about Garuda in an article highlighting top choices for laptop distros.

It definitely feels a bit odd going from a Debian based distro to an Arch based one, but who doesn't like trying new flavors, right?

Exactly, I’m sure you’ll be amazed at what you can do with Arch-based distributions.
