GTA 5 freezing

Hello Garuda users. Recently, GTA 5 started bugging me. At the same time, GTA 4 works fine. The problem is that in GTA 5 textures are not loaded and in general it is buggy. Sometimes when I enter it, the story mode starts loading endlessly, sometimes I can still enter it, but then my textures are blurred. About a week ago everything was fine. Drivers are ok. The nvidia drivers are version 515.57. I also tried to restart GTA with proton 7 and proton experiment, it did not work. With all this, GTA 4 runs great. My hardware: ssd 500 gb, gtx 1650, 8 RAM, pentium 4600. The hardware is not very new, but before that it pulled normally. Completely forgot. I ran performance tests and GTA gave out 60-70 fps at high settings, but at the same time the image lagged and looked like somewhere around 30 fps, but not 60 at all. And for some reason, during the tests, textures did not load for me. I checked the integrity of the files several times, but there are no problems.

Hello Garuda users.

Please read the following template before requesting assistance:

Please post the terminal/konsole input and output as text (no pictures) from the the following command:

garuda-inxi

Refusing to post the output of the required "garuda-inxi" on a help request will likely result in you not receiving any help from the Garuda team. A failure to provide your system specs may also result in your thread being closed without notice, (as without this information providing assistance is often next to impossible).

Before opening a new help request, please search the Arch and Garuda Wiki's, and read any relevant sections related to your issue. Also, thoroughly search any error messages in the forum's search engine and on the web. For in depth information on how to search for answers to Linux issues effectively read the tips on the Garuda Wiki:

Please report in detail everything you have already attempted to solve your problem.

Maybe this is a known problem in a recent update?

I think you could also try to switch steam to experimental

Switching to proton to experimental and to proon 7 did not give anything. GTA still crashes after a few minutes, problems with textures remained.

I tried changing proton versions, lowering/raising graphics settings, reinstalling GTA, checking its files for integrity. None of this resulted.

What changed between it working correctly and it not working?

Nothing has changed. GTA broke down even before the update of the garuda, I didn’t update Steam or GTA at all, I didn’t touch the driver either. She just broke as if on her own. Like for no reason.
UPD
Oh, wrong. There was a GTA update that I didn't notice because it was updated in the background. But apart from the GTA update, nothing happened.

Latest comments in protondb I linked above mentioned a new version of GTA 5 having this problem. Do you feel the same? Was GTA 5 better for you before?

Yes, I have exactly the same problems as those who complain about the update. Before it everything worked perfectly. After that the game became completely unplayable.

You could try to revert the update if Steam and Rockstar Games aren't using Digital Restrictions Management on you.

But how to do that. Steam doesn't have that option. Maybe it makes sense to just wait for the proton update?
