@arco
Okay
Yes. That seems to be the only apparent way to fix your issue.
Settings like fastboot, secure boot, RAID etc. need to be disabled for a Linux system to work.
Ok, I'll disable it
Ok, so disabling fastboot solved the problem and now everything is alright.
I actually got confused by windows fast boot and BIOS fastboot when I was installing Garuda linux.
It probably happened because when I was searching online the procedure to dual boot windows and linux, I read that the fastboot should be disabled but I didn't knew anything about dualbooting at that time so I searched all the process for dual booting and of course for disabling fastboot.
and then I read an article for disabling fastboot, but that article was about windows fastboot or windows fast startup
I actually saw fastboot in BIOS settings because I was trying the check ACHI/RAID in BIOS settings as suggested by @arco and then asked here about BIOS fastboot setting.
Thanks everyone for helping me......
We know that only Win does such things. ![]()
That’s wrong. Because you have tried before does not actually make it a fact ![]()
The less you boot into Windows, the less the problems you will have with dual-booting.
Have fun!
