Gnome extensions not working

Hello Garuda users.

I try to install a gnome extension with gnome-shell-extension, gnome-browser-connector and the firefox/chrome addon. In firefox I get the error "An unexpected error occurred" directly above the installation button. I don't need to press the button, to generate this error. This there with the page load.
In chrome I get the error "Native host has exited." when loading a page.

How to fix this?

journalctl --user -xe gives anything related? Is this a Python package by chance?

Edit: yep

depends=(gnome-shell python-gobject)

I'd propose a full system update & relog (just did a rebuild on the repo side)
