Gnome-control-centre 47.2-1 not opening

Sir/Madam,
Gnome-control-centre 47.2-1 not opening . Not able add/modify to gmail account, which can sync to calendar. Please help me to resolve the issue.

You realize you tagged a GNOME issue to an XFCE channel.

I can only tell you to look for something different that can do the same thing, Things built for Gnome are sometimes designed never to work out of it.
If its a calender and email sync you wan’t, have you thought about Thunderbird.
