Global menu problem

The problem occurs in gimp, inkscape, etc applications. Do you have any idea how to solve this?

Even if you didn’t post garuda-inxi and most likely didn’t search for it here in the forum or on the internet…

Right click the panel and go to edit mode. Remove the Global Menu widget.

Launch Plasma System Settings and navigate to Colors & ThemesWindow Decorations. In the top right corner Configure Titlebar Buttons and remove Application Menu.

Log out from your session and login again.

Its a gnome or gtk issue the only way to fix it is add GDK_BACKEND=x11 as a environment variable. This only mainly works with inkscape and gimp any other gtk apps your mileage will vary.

To add this using the start menu R-click on inkscape/gimp etc click properties → Application → paste it in → click apply / ok and reopen it.

If kde pops up the window with all the apps you can just change them all at once and save. but yea depending on the back end toolkit apps use it might get worse down the line.
