Getting Verify result: verify-no-match (done) while setting up the fingerprint on Garuda OS

Hi, I have got a Thinkpad E14 laptop with an ELAN fingerprint device. I am trying to set up the fingerprint and I am able to enroll the fingerprint however when I try to verify the fingerprint, I am getting the following error “Verify result: verify-no-match (done)”. I have tried following the same process in Ubuntu and I am able to successfully set up the device using the driver installation method provided in this link but I am not able to replicate the same result with Arch distros. Please do let me know if any system-specific details are required besides the below ones -

Did you check the arch wiki?

If I read, there is no fingerprint for Gen 2, I have no hope there is one for Gen 4 in arch.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Lenovo_ThinkPad_E14_Gen_2_(AMD)
I stop the search.
Check

lsusb

if you have the same Fingerprint reader 27c6:55a4 No

I just checked and found that mine is 04f3:0c4b. Adding below the details for lsusb -

Just search for this one in arch wiki.

Sometimes fingerprint readers do not properly register new entries if there are old entries logged on another distro. You must first figure out how to purge them from the device. I learned about this when troubleshooting a fingerprint reader on another laptop: Ubuntu Fingerprint Troubleshooting

The garuda-inxi is incomplete if he is already using it under M$ ???

I have refrained from using it under Linux.

IIRC, there is a risk to destroy the chip/reader???
Ähhm, by using not the correct driver.
