Getting error : failed retrieving file 'chaotic-keyring-20250614-1-any.pkg.tar.zst.sig' from cf-builds.garudalinux.org : Maximum file size exceeded

hey so i tried to update my system, the usual sudo pacman -Syu , andi got this error for some reason :

failed retrieving file ‘chaotic-keyring-20250614-1-any.pkg.tar.zst.sig’ from cf-builds.garudalinux.org : Maximum file size exceeded

befor that i got this error for 4 or 5 different packages , here its with brave browser :

ile /var/cache/pacman/pkg/brave-bin-1:1.79.123-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).

after looking at a reddit post , i updated the keyring as it seemed to have worked and now i get this error about the keyring , the fist one i gavze wich ill copy under this as well :

failed retrieving file ‘chaotic-keyring-20250614-1-any.pkg.tar.zst.sig’ from cf-builds.garudalinux.org : Maximum file size exceeded

ive looked into it but i cant seem to find anything about my problem

i was on manjaro before so update was made through that commend , when i ran it garuda asked me if i wanted it to replace the usual garuda-update by sudo pacman syu and i agreed, i forgot it wasnt this originaly

And where do i write this garuda-inxi you said ?

Next time just follow the template, it is a command for the terminal.

  • After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)
  • Format terminal output (including your garuda-inxi) as a code block by clicking the preformatted text button (</>) , or put three tildes (~) above and below the text
