General Settings

Today I switched to linux for the first time and installed Garuda. Everything seems to be fine, but is there an app where I can manage general settings? I searched but couldn’t find it or is it related to Hyperland. I’m still trying to figure it out, sorry for my simple questions.

Welcome
If you need an app to change settings use KDE.
If you point out what is meaning “general”, helpers can better help, maybe.
Some settings you find in .config/hypr/hyprland.conf
Some also here

And maybe you over read it

actually this image but not in hyperland.

I’ve actually been wanting to switch to Linux for a long time. It doesn’t make sense to use Hyperland in the first transition, but I’m also a software developer so I wanted to use it.

Yeah not in hyprland, use this one, it’s KDE, you will love it. Later you can change, nobody starts with window manager DE’s

hyprland is more of config files then anything gui, I think sway is the same. i know there are some gui things for like display but its not all in one place if i remember right.

I think that’s exactly why I started

I’ll take care of it all!

Invest some time on the Hyprland wiki also.

It was very useful for me in the first days with Hyprland (which is not my daily system, but starting out of curiosity I liked it a lot)
