I was going through garuda-update wiki, particularly in the usage section. I was wondering if the extra parameter flags will be better represented as, for example the first parameter; ‘–skip-mirrorlist’ instead of ‘-skip-mirrorlist’
This look the same to me, or I am confused a bit by the statement.
This is the exact page though:
You can prolly make a pull request., however I think its already in the format you want it presented in.
after reviewing the source code, I see that it is in fact in the way I proposed. I am thinking my font alongside ligatures is what messed what i am looking at.
Ok, I am not so confused that is the problem as i tried viewing the exact page on my phone and the dash while it looks slightly longer on closer inspection, is still rendered as a single dash.
On further investigation, I think it might be a misinterpretation from markdown to html.
Refer to this stackoverflow issue.
I would have tried making changes and see if this is in fact the issue but I was unable to identify the build process required to generate the html on the actual site.
Please, stop posting like in a chatroom, you can edit your post until someone replies.
I’ve addressed the rendering issue here, thanks for pointing this out. It appears an update of the wiki software has led to some irregularities in that regard.
