If this was the solution, it would surely have been built into config.fish
and garuda-update
and reflector
in the packages list a long time ago.
It’s my personal configuration, since the mirrors are updated with every garuda-update
, the “newer than” should not occur, or it’s not a problem that will solve itself after a few updates.
But if you want to do it the same way, I recommend you to use this
alias up='sudo reflector --country Germany --latest 5 --age 1 --delay 0.25 --fastest 5 --protocol https --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && bat /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && garuda-update
