Garuda sway edition what is eye on top bar?

Hi, I have some issues with my sway edition like I can't click on that lock button it's doesn't popup any dialog box regarding to logout or shutdown, my screen color is ok but it's little bit brown color overlayed on my screen, is there is any customization I needed? I have search but didn't found any solution.

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

First of all, the final symbol means that a reboot is pending after a recent update. Just in case…

This could be the “night color” feature.
Check this thread if you want to remove that feature:

Hi @filo Thanks It works. I wonder my eye icon on top bar when I am pressing it, it doesn't toggle the color but when I run this command it did work, so is there is any configuration I need to change to make it toggle when I press on that eye Icon?

Sorry, that command was meant to remove it.
If you like the feature reinstall it.
I'm not a Sway user... In the upstream site it does not give any indication on the usage. Just says to check the -h option from command line (or the man Page).

No problem I understood what you were trying to say thanks for that command suggestion, I didn't removed it but I think this script is not working on my side.

#!/bin/sh
CONTENT=$(curl -s https://freegeoip.app/json/)
longitude=$(echo $CONTENT | jq .longitude)
latitude=$(echo $CONTENT | jq .latitude)
wlsunset -l $latitude -L $longitude

This is the script in .config/sway/scripts/light.sh but I think it will need internet connection on when making curl request so is there is any way to run this script?

Or it could be issue about not binding with that icon eye when I am pressing it maybe it didn't triggered the script.

Yes I think that is the problem that script light.sh didn't actually binded with that eye icon on sway bar.

Hi @filo Thanks for your help to suggest me that command I think I found the solution, you can bind command like below format in file ~/.config/waybar/config

"idle_inhibitor": {
        "format": "{icon}",
       "format-icons": {
            "activated": "",
            "deactivated": ""
        },
        "on-click": "~/.config/sway/scripts/light.sh"
    },

The eye icon is an idle inhibitor--not related to night color, or any other aspect of the display. It keeps your computer from going to suspend, in case you want to watch a movie or something.
