I am installing Garuda Gnome and when trying to run the Garuda Setup Assistant tool it gives this error:

After this the script stops. This is a fresh install and I just downloaded the latest iso from the site. Any help will be appreciated.
There is only one ISO on the download page fore each DE.

I just installed garuda-gnome-linux-zen-250308.iso to test and cannot reproduce this issue. On the back of a fresh installation, Garuda Setup Assistant immediately launches, runs an update, and then opens the utility for selecting additional applications.
Did you modify the installation at all prior to interacting with the setup assistant?
Please open a terminal to grab your garuda-inxi output and paste it into the thread.
i got the same issue. With the same warning. Neither does garuda-rani work for me, i get a blank window, with press-able places.
(i did a test install to see how the new distro would look. But could not install Garuda on nvidia drivers, but only open source. Got the above issue trying to update, and then installing the nvidia drivers did not work, had to use the open source dkms drivers instead.

i just checked garuda-rani and it is working fine, and the error updating has gone.
i did update Garuda yesterday, which did nothing, but i think installing the nvidia drivers might have fixed it. i did not check garuda-rani after i installed the nvidia drivers but installed steam and my games instead.
@dsuarez001 try installing these drivers, assuming you have a nvidia graphic card, and see if that fixes your problem.
(i also added these lines to cmdline.conf, before installing the graphic drivers, and rebuild the kernel. (Though i do not know if this has anything to do with it.))
