It seems like I forgot reimplementing that functionality 
I mean, the switch is there and all that, but after porting it to electron I didn’t add back the logic for responding to toggling it. Absolutely my bad, I’ll be adding it back very soon.
I wonder what a use case would be, given the app refreshes whenever a relevant thing was executed. But yes, that’s one of the easiest things do. I’d call a full refresh however (there is more state other than packages only).
