I have been running Lubuntu on my Acer notebook via Crouton. I would prefer to cleanly install Garuda. I am not happy about flashing the BIOS. Has anyone on this forum done that? There is a wiki on installing Arch but it's for a Samsung. Any advice will be appreciated.
Does this previously unknown hardware have the minimum requirements as stated on the download page?
It would be helpful to provide a link.

You seem uninformed. I recommend you to do some reading and also be prepared to flash firmware. Check out the links in sidebar:

The Acer uses an AMD processor while the Samsung uses an ARM processor.
