Wanted to thank the Garuda team for all their efforts: I was in search of a new Linux distro to put on a handheld device since Windows 11 is all kind of wrong (especially on handhelds) and I was not convinced about my past experiences with Kubuntu, and… despite having always used gray-shades themes on Windows, I’ve been completely mesmerized by the colorfulness of Garuda Linux, especially the ‘Dr460nized’ version! So much that I ended up installing it also on my other two PCs :'D
With that said, my initial concerns about performances have been promptly forgotten the moment I tried it: snappy, responsive, and somewhat lightweight (~3GB of ram occupied, way behind W11 ~5GB) despite all the graphic effects active? Couldn’t have asked for more!
Sure, there have been some hiccups here and there and a bunch of issues is yet to be resolved, but so far it has been a blast of an experience, so - again - my thanks to the Garuda team for this gem of a distro <3
