A Heartfelt Appreciation for Garuda Linux Broadwing

Hello Garuda Linux Team,

I recently installed Garuda Mokka, and I must say—it’s absolutely stunning! The attention to detail in the theme, the seamless functionality, and the overall ease of use make it an incredible experience. Kudos to the entire team for crafting such a beautiful and polished OS!

Currently, I have Garuda Hyprland installed on my SSD and Mokka on my HDD, allowing me to enjoy the best of both worlds. While both are fantastic, I find myself increasingly drawn to Hyprland—it feels like an adventurous journey every time I use it! The dynamic workflow, speed, and efficiency make it a joy to work with.

One of my favorite customizations is configuring function keys to launch my favorite apps instantly—without even needing the Super key! A simple tap, and my applications open within a second. Switching between windows and launching apps is now effortless and lightning-fast.

Garuda Linux has truly redefined my computing experience, and I’m beyond grateful for the hard work and dedication of the team behind it. Thank you for creating such an exceptional Linux distribution!

There is a tile called INSTALL GARUDA or something like that.
I don’t have the ISO at the moment but I can come back later today if you don’t find it.

Since the error is difficult to determine, because it does not occur with all hardware constellations, and there is also a solution for the few cases, you should better switch directly to another distribution.

What error exactly? Maybe i can help to determine the error. I mean, i have an nvidia gpu. And kinda unlimited time for testing xD. And nvidia + Linux is and will always have a little more issues than amd + Linux. At least slightly.

You should tell the developers when you plan to switch so they have a deadline for when they have to finish their great free work.

Just made a new install for the Mokka version, switching from Dr460nized but I still don’t understand how to update my system using RANI? can someone from the team explain how should we use the new tool to update / upgrade our system? to me, the previous one has an easier UX for making updates.

same way you use the Garuda Assistant?

You can either schedule several task and run them at once or run one by one by clicking on the RUN

its actually a bit quicker to just hit “update now” there then it will pop up the terminal bit right away and go.

No nvidia on my part, the ISOs boot fine on my nvida PC, problem exist on my notebooks.
