If run calamares…

…you can’t start a second.
If, boot live iso → close rani → open konsole sudo -E calamares
that looks like this then…

actice window (terminal) with ? or ?

Perhaps a member here use also vmware and not kvm/qemu and can test this to help.
I switched 2 years from vmware to kvm, it was the better decision in retrospect.

Konsole window shows : sudo -E calamares

Behind is error of installation at the end of it.

But calamares is active or ? (to exit calamares you must click on button “Done”)

Btw.. we type here about the install over terminal with command sudo -E calameres :upside_down_face:

If it`s a new vm yes.. if not..delete the old vm , create a new ..boot live iso → etc

Sorry, btw, as long that we here typing about this… i install with kvm 10x live isos or more and it’s equal which, with secure boot or not default settings.

You have canceled calameres before press “install”
I don’t know why you doing this.

It is “after” installation, not before.

This thread is profoundly frustrating.

Do NOT click the “install Garuda Linux” shortcut. DO NOT have calamares open.

START CALAMARES with the command. DO NOT Install it first and THEN start it.

You need to START it in the terminal and keep the terminal open until the error.
