This is sweet. Thank you!

BTW, just hit the heart, for thanks. No text needed
Written somewhere in the guidlines, IIRC.

How do I add the seed file in windows? I do not see the option.

Due to cygwin limitations on windows, you can't. You can do it manually tho by copying your seed file to the Garuda Downloader folder (the one that is automatically created) as current.iso.

Downloading it now. The features seems to be great.

This is really a clever app! I wish I had it for downloading several iso files last week like Rescuezilla and a few more for some work projects. I like the Balena Etcher button idea and think it is a nice convenience!

Both Windows and Linux permalinks return 404.

This has been fixed, thanks for notifying us! Ultimately it was caused by migrating our main builder to another VM in order to not have it on Fosshost provided resources anymore.

Unfortunately does not work for me on Windows 10, when selecting Dragonized and clicking "Download":

Info: "zsync2 version 2.0.0-alpha-1 (commit aa5d024), build <local dev build> built on 2021-03-25 10:51:00 UTC"
Info: "Reading and/or parsing .zsync file failed!"

Does this do anything special, or is it equivalent to downloading an .iso and using Rufus to deploy it to a USB stick?

Yes, it is equivalent to that process. Ventoy is generally recommended as an alternative if you're having issues: Ventoy

I always get error while trying to download with the downloader on windows 10. The Log file is:
Info: "zsync2 version 2.0.0-alpha-1 (commit aa5d024), build built on 2021-03-25 10:51:00 UTC"
Info: "Could not resolve host: mirrors.fossho.st"
Info: "Reading and/or parsing .zsync file failed!"

Tried to change my dns, disabling security, restarting pc and didn't work

There is no fosshost mirror anymore. Maybe the app need some changing?

In the meantime, download the ISO from homepage and use ventoy.net .

Both Windows and Linux permalinks return 404, again. :frowning:

AppImage link is broken.

Chaotic-AUR version throws error

The software should be considered "not dead for good, but definitely ceased development" I'd say probably. Due to the way R2 works, making it use it isn't viable. Sourceforge would be doable, but it's Sourceforge, so I'm not sure if the development effort is worth it right now.

FYI Linux permalink gives an nginx 404 error (I used the Raspberry Image rpi-imager pkg recommended on the forum to burn after downloading the iso from Garuda.)
