Found an interesting bug in KDE. If the Dock is not floating, the icons on the task manager do NOT show up on start. They come back if you go into edit mode. If the dock is floating, they load like normal. This started happening after the last KDE update.

Please irregardless of what you are asking help for please post you garuda-inxi as stated in the templet you deleted. Now that said I just disabled floating and my tray icons stayed.
I would go here and file them a bug if I were you.

Sorry, but I’m not asking a question or for help. This is KDE problem and I thought the fantastic Garuda team might want to know about it. I’ll file a bug report the KDE.

Me too, not trying to fix it.
Just one of the joys of constantly updating and a rolling system.
Someone will fix it eventually.

Thanks all. I have another computer I use as a test bed with Endeavour OS on it. I use KDE on it as well. The same thing happened after the KDE upgrade. So I knew it was a KDE bug. It’s on their long list of things to fix.

Since most are not getting it it must be something in a few edge cases as for as tyour setup.
