If you have not tried another USB stick yet, you really should. Even if you have to go out and buy one, it is worth it I think because sometimes a given USB stick will just not work as boot media for no reason.
I didn’t think of that, I’ll try that next after work tomorrow. The USB I’m using is one that I’ve used to boot a linux install a while ago, and multiple windows installs as well. Maybe it just doesn’t have it in it anymore?
I am having issues installing Garuda KDE Dragonized on my desktop. I have created the Live USB with the Garuda Downloader in Linux and used it to install Garuda on a laptop which worked without issues.
When I boot from the Live USB on my desktop and select the Garuda options (free or non-free options) the screen immediately goes black and doesn't respond to any inputs.
Removing the quiet option from GRUB command doesn't show anything.

I try to install the KDE Gaming version but somehow cant get it to boot
I used Balena Etcher as well as Rufus to write the image on the USB drive.
I also tried the nonfree as well as the free driver option on the Grub menu.
My System:
AMD Threadripper 1920x
nVidia RTX 2080 Super
48 GB ram
1tb SSD
