Games wont run after update?

Hey yall,
I just ran my regular system update, and when I rebooted I ran in to sevral diffrent issues.

1.) At boot the welcome to garuda poped back up like when you do a fresh install
2.) I tryed to launch some games and could not get any of them to run
3.) Thank God for snapper tools rebooted to last snap and all games back to running.

Im now worried about runnig in to more up date issues. Some pointers on how resolve my up date issue would be great. My inix is below.

Garuda updates are usually flawless, so don’t be too worried.

Did you use garuda-update or pacman -Syu ? It’s generally recommended to use garuda-update as it includes some additional steps that should prevent issues.

Watch the command line for warnings and errors while it runs. Does it show anything?

Wine? GE?

garuda update. When i rebooted i got the welcome to garuda thing i had that turn off. and ist ask me to merge pacman with somthing i didnt do it and it gave me problem with the games i have in bottles. Bottles also wont let me add new games to it. I seem to have trouble with my wine i get error messge when i go to open wine tricks.

both

Bottles’ seems to have several issues at the moment.

Which error message? We are not clairvoyants, so let us know the error message.

Just repeat the garuda-update and post the complete output of this here (if you have AUR packages installed, then use garuda-update -a). Then reboot and check if there are any issues.

Will do. and the error msg tells me that im using a 64bit not 32bit as well as when i try to in stall some dll for like dx9 or dx11 packs it tells me that they cant be found. Ill try and grab some screen shots.
