F1 - F5 function keys don’t work in midnight commander. I guess that somewhere in the settings of the KDE dragonized release they are binded. I checked lots of settings but can’t find it. Used shell doesn’t make a difference. It must be somewhere in the user settings because I copied over my home to an arch kde install (to a test user) and the keys didn’t work there either. I use MC a lot so I would like to get some help on this issue. The distro itself runs very well but I need to get rid of this annoyance to fully use it.
Have you checked with Konsole, or only Alacrity? or what terminal?
If Alacrity, search for key_bindings in $HOME/.config/alacritty/alacritty.yml.
Else look in KDE shortcuts.
