Fresh install, can't boot hyprland

1. The issue
   I’m trying to install garuda linux, Hyprland edition.
   Using the open source drivers (nvidia graphics card) I am able to get to the installer and install it.
   When I try to boot it will either flash back to the grub menu or give the

error:
error start_image(): 0x800000000001

2. Attempts to solve it
   try different install methods, tried different drivers.
   It worked on a dell optiplex

Garuda Hyprland Feb ISO's won't boot after install

try it like i did with an extra /boot partition that should actually work. this is the only way it works for me at the moment with the installation whether it is the hyprland or dr460nized iso does not matter for me without the extra /boot partition it does not work. edit: i can’t answer why this is the case with me or us, my knowledge is not sufficient for that, at most i have better basic knowledge. but if creating an extra /boot partition is all it takes then i can live with it …

i don’t think it’s because of the nvidia card because i have an amd system and have the same problem as described in the other thread.

it has nothing to do with the hyperland iso specifically, because as i said it is the same error with the dr460nized iso.

but i’d be happy to be taught better.

setting the partitions as you mentioned allowed me to boot.
So probably not an nvidia problem.

And as the image shows, it happens when still booting.

It does work, I’m just illustrating what happens when you don’t manually partition

Just saying here, I had this similar error with hyprland latest iso and sway too. I just never had the time fix it or report it so I kept on hold.

After installing and selecting in grub, it would just throw me back to grub…
