Try rebooting from a working snapshot. Then
sudo pacman -Syu
reboot
then
sudo dkms autoinstall
reboot and test if working nicely.
I posted this earlier, to help you. Many may post, please read your own thread thoroughly.

I was about to try that but for no reason my DE stop working and now I have to reinstall Garuda.
I will try to install with open source, update, reboot and do sudo dkms autoinstall. and see what happens.
Please keep us informed.
For future reference,
The error there should be quite clear.
Egg on my face indicates learning has taken place, Senpai (should have clocked that)
Thank you.
Edit for below - I still didn't clock it, so useful for me also, J. Helpers learn too.
Heh, the comment wasn't aimed at you.
Thanks Fingers, seems like it worked finally!

this should mean that its working correctly right? nvidia-settings is good too
Cool - now enjoy!
Sounds kind of like a nickname from your old "Mob" days. Like "No Nose" or "Greasy Thumb”.
Shhhh!
Question: Why are you installing the 390xx drivers on a GPU that is supported by the 460xx drivers?
Hum? Wait... 390xx isn't the lastest? There are two options dkms Nvidia and dkms Nvidia 390xx what should I install?
Edit- Yeah I'm a linux noob hehe, but I really wanna learn, and garuda was the most interesting distro
First
inxi -G
Graphics: Device-1: NVIDIA GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB] driver: nvidia v: 460.56
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.10 driver: loaded: nvidia resolution: 3840x2160~60Hz
OpenGL: renderer: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 v: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 460.56
Just to be sure, this sudo dkms autoinstall is supposed to return nothing on konsole right?
AFAIK if correct, no output is returned.
Alright, the last thing I have to deal with is python-pyxdg and python-xdg conflict thing... it's hard to use Linux, but is fun to learn how to use it correctly
Now... THAT is the spirit. Start here
Remembering this

And the best of luck!
Use forum search function next time.
Oh sorry, I was just mentioning that I had the same issue and I did those steps but now the boot sticks on loading initial ram disk
And Windows dissapeared from grub too
