Flatpak is cow or no cow?

As I’m still learning about this universe called Linux so the best way is to ask questions here
Flatpak is a system-independent package format, which means it won’t affect the system regardless of what we do on it
But as btrfs takes snapshots with every update change (for example) i don’t know how it would run Gnome boxes in flatpak format even if not activating the no cow

we do not take automatic snapshot of home
we only take snapshot of root ie of @
as flatpaks get installed in home there is no relation with snapshots

Anyway, being on Garuda (Arch) I really don't have the necessity to use flatpak anymore. All the fresh stuff is in both Arch repositories and AUR
