Fish not autobeautifying it's contents after update

Hello Garuda users.
I have recently noticed that fish has stopped autobeautifying it's contents since the last update (somewhere between 10th - 12th dec) I decided to rollback to previous snapshot had to choose 9th dec one 10th dec snapshot still had the same issue. Plus a chroot and reinstalling grub later I had a working fish again.

I cleared all my paccache and updated all my packages again and rebooted the device which resulted in the same problem making me believe it's a problem with this update. Can someone please help.:pray:

I have attached Screenshots to help better understand the problem.
Before update:

After update:

I know this might not be a issue for many but it is very irksome for me. Could someone please tell me how to fix this or just point me in the general direction?? Bcoz I have no clue what this feature is even called and that just makes it searching it online very hard.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

“font ligatures”. All I know is that the font must support them and they have to be enabled by whatever is using the font, the terminal emulator in this case.
Maybe they have been disabled by default with the update.
While they look cool and are wonderful for typography, since they are processed by the font rendering engine, there is no guarantee that some combination of characters is actually a ligature.

I finally found the solution for this:
