Firedragon - Vertical tabs on second window broken

Good morning everyone, hope you’re having a good day.

Here’s the issue, when using firedragon w/vertical tabs, on one single window, it works kind of good (except resizing, which doesn’t work that well seeing as it has a strict minimum width from what I’ve seen). when dragging a tab outside the main window, it creates a new firedragon window, with only that tab. it’s only a UI issue, as using ctrl+tab still allows me to cycle through tabs in that window, however creating new tabs doesn’t show them, neither the first one is.

here’s the inxi:

✅ System health check passed. No issues found.

So either I can’t reproduce the issue or I’m misunderstanding you.
The first tab in the active window was dragged out of the main window and created a new window. And all tabs are displayed correctly:

Can you show us a screenshot of your issue?

Strangely, that’s exactly what’s not working on my end, although from what I’m seeing, you have the tabs differently maybe?

here’s what happens on my end, the first window in the foreground is the one “dragged out” while the one in the background is the main one, with tabs working correctly.

Note that the css applied to the window should not have anything to do with it, as it was happening before it was applied

Those are the Firedragon default settings:

Have you changed anything? If not, then it could also be due to the theme.

I have the same settings, minus the specific sidebar from FD (the leftmost one in your UI)

Strangely enough, yesterday I updated my system and now it seems to be working correctly, maybe the bug was fixed?

EDIT: what could have affected this was enabling the firedragon sidebar, restarting, disabling it and restarting again, probably something there affected this

In any case, thanks for your answers!

Probably just something was stuck :slightly_smiling_face: . I marked your post as solution.
