FireDragon top bar buttons are gone

Hello, I'm new to the forum but also new to linux and was looking to get a little help. I had distrohopped between a couple different versions of Garuda before deciding on KDE Dr460nized which brought me here. Each time I performed a clean install by erasing the disk in the installer.

Recently after running the system update in Garuda Assistant the themed buttons on FireDragon have disappeared if the window is not maximized. If it is maximized they appear in the AppMenu bar at the top of the screen.

Including some screenshots so hopefully people understand what I'm talking about.
Red shows missing FireDragon buttons, yellow shows them on terminal window for example

Fullscreen shows buttons at top left in the AppMenu bar.
Sorry, couldn't upload to forum directly as a new user. Searched the forums but didn't see anything quite matching this, also checked some videos of Garuda to make sure I wasn't crazy and was misremembering something that was never there.

garuda-inxi per the instructions.

Thanks for your time and work on Garuda, it really is an amazing OS.

Looked into the GTK error from FireDragon and tried to work backwards from there. Re-installed a few more times to test but installing either Krita or GIMP from the Garuda Assistant is what broke it for me. Removing the packages didn't fix it, but never installing them on a fresh install worked. Just following up in case anyone else ran into the same problem.

Literally right next to this topic: Maximized Window Buttons

Also welcome to the forum!

Hey thanks for the assistance. Unfortunately those threads are describing the opposite of the issue I was experiencing. Maximized FireDragon worked fine showing the window buttons in the top left of the dock as expected, it was only when FireDragon wasn't maximized that the window buttons didn't show. Still though, was useful to learn just how customizable the window decorations were so thanks for that.

Oh. Check the KDE settings.
Systemsettings -> Application Style -> Window Decorations -> No Borders
