There is some upstream floorp bug going around. you can sudo downgrade firedragon To check which firedragon you have first run paru -Qi firedragon then for now downgrade it. You can also test the firedragon 12 beta but make sure to make a new profile first with firedragon -p you can grab the appimage here Releases · Garuda Linux 🦅 / FireDragon / FireDragon 12 · GitLab. There no crashing there that I’ve seen.

Downgraded seemed to help as well.

Downgraded one version, helped, thanks.

There’s a thing you can test via sudo pacman -Syu chaotic-aur/firedragon. That build has LTO disabled, which is supposed to fix the issue for good.

I also have the same issue but with Firedragon Catppuccin. I tried your workaround with Catppuccin but I obtain “target not found”

Thanks a lot !!
it has finally solved the issue …

For now this fix was only pushed to firedragon to test whether it would help. Will be rolling out to the rest too.

Had a crashing fit again in firedragon (different gfx error) just before finding this post. Been crash free so far since running that command and updating. Fingers crossed.

I picked the wrong week to switch to Linux.

Last update brought me firedragon-catppuccin version 1:11.28.0_2-2 from garuda repository. No more crashes for several ours.

Downgrading to 1:11.27.0_1-1 did NOT fix the issue for me as it crashed while writing this message. I will attempt [dr460nf1r3]'s suggestion and edit this comment to report back.

Edit: seems stable. Still have websites, especially stores, giving me access denied errors, but I’m not sure if that’s another symptom of the same cause.
