Sooo, first of all welcome to the forum
The firedragon
package has become the stable build. The previous naming scheme was quite unconventional - the original plan was to provide a Librewolf Nightly build with custom branding so firedragon
was of course the package name of choice. I was not thinking about providing a stable build back then. But eventually it happened and after some time the browser became default browser of Garuda as it enabled shipping own settings eg. being able to use webconferencing & DRM protected content. To comply with AUR guidelines: firedragon-stable
→ firedragon
and firedragon
→ firedragon-hg
(like -git packages) which means you have the correct version installed which also gets obvious when looking at the version - Firefox itself is at version 89.0.1 as well
That means you would have to remove either /usr/lib/firedragon/firedragon.cfg
or /usr/lib/firedragon/distribution/policies.json
- both of them provide a reasonable amount of the settings responsible for the features of this browser (and will appear again after updating).
