Fingerprint on garuda

Hi, I am new in Garuda and Linux in general

I wondered if there was any way to use the footprint reader to unlock the PC?

I found a way to install it in arch and I thought it would also work for garuda but it didn't

Use the following commands:

sudo pacman -S git base-devel.
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/trizen.git.
cd trizen
makepkg -sri
trizen -S fingerprint-gui

Sorry if there is an error in the texts, I am using translator

Please, format your inxi in same way you do with

sudo pacman -S ...

Use paru or pacseek, I can't remember what trizen is
Or pacman -U ???

Fingerprint on Linux is a hit or miss in my experience, depending on the sensor used. On my old laptop, I could make it work using fprint - it required some manual work though:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/fprint

Depending on the sensor used, it might not work at all though, due to the drivers.
