I dont have issues browsing Web Pages. But I observed my Network Upload speed is more than 25Mbps whereas download is suffering (less than 1Mbps). Have raised it with my ISP so let me wait for resolution from there end and then observe it again.

Thank you everyone. The issue has got resolved. As per the last update, the network speed was observed to be in my wifi card (Intel Advanced-N 6205) which showed speed of 500Kbps against other devices on the same network which showed around 30Mbps.
Found the following solution on forum
echo "options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf
which restored my Network speed and the updates were done
smoothly.
