Will need an update of the settings package. Bummer, AUR maintainer must’ve changed pkgname :face_with_peeking_eye:

Just updated my roommate’s machine and got this. removed both using sudo pamac -Rns and then installed the new files. then ran garuda-update again and all was good.

Things will be fixed tomorrow morning if @FGD doesn’t get to it before I do :grimacing:

For the time being that’s a workaround I guess.

How did you manage to remove them? Any chance you remember the commands / order?

When I try to remove sweet-kde-theme-git with pacman -Rns it complains because it is required by sweet-theme-full-git

Trying to remove sweet-theme-full-git complains because it is required by garuda-dr460nized

Did you remove the entire garuda-dr460nized package as well? How did you put it back together?

remove the full it should remove the other.

Just wait some hours.

It’s been updated, but the package is not pushed to servers yet.

The package depends on plasma5-themes-sweet-full-git but not on plasma5-themes-sweet-kde-git.

I see we’re still waiting for the diff to be pushed to the public; i just reinstalled Garuda on a new PC build and am hung up on the setup assistant because of it.

Hopefully it gets pushed soon

I have a practically identical problem:

Is this also being fixed? Or is the firedragon thing a different issue?

If you are talking about kfiredragonhelper that can be removed. (There has been multiple topics on packages not being used anymore that are preventing updates; kfiredragonhelper being one of them).

Remove kfiredragonhelper with the command:
sudo pacman -R kfiredragonhelper

Once the sweet-theme-full-git fix has been pushed to the servers, you should be able to garuda-update .

I just faced this issue.

Fixed by removing the package ā€œgaruda-dr460nizedā€,
but now when I open the terminal, the system info is gone and get this message instead:

Error: couldn't find config: dr460nized

Appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to get rid of it

Of course you would get that error… that is what you removed. Please revert the change and wait patiently for the sweet-theme-full-git fix to be pushed to the servers.

Did remove. Now I just get the standard error everybody is getting, so I’ll just wait. Thanks.

Oh okay.
I did a partial update earlier so I’ll get a warning if revert back again.
Will just wait and reinstall "garuda-dr460nizedā€ again.

Is there a way to remove the error though?

Yes, you could use a snapshot from before the change (before that garuda-dr460nized removal). Please read the the relevant wiki entry Restoring snapshots to get the system back to working state | Garuda Linux wiki

Thank you, I did that already, and got a warning about some partial update.
So I’ll just wait for now

You do know you put the file you removed back in after you do the update, right?
