Failed to boot both default and fallback entries

When booting into Garuda, I usually have to restart my computer 1 or 2 times for me to get to the login successfully. When the first or second boot fails, It freezes and shows

  Booting 'Garuda Linux'
Loading Linux-zen ...
Loading initial ramdisk ...
error: start_image() returned 0x8000000000000005.
  Failed to boot both default and fallback entries
Press any key to continue...

It does eventually boot successfully after the first or second boot. I should also mention that on my previous install of Garuda, the problem started around 3 months ago and gradually got worse, making it feel almost impossible to boot into Garuda. I am duel booting Windows 11 and have tried disconnecting my Windows drive and doing a reinstall of Garuda today and the problem still persists.

Here is my inxi, i appreciate any assistance I can get

Maybe it’s better to try another kernel.

Hi, I gave the LTS kernel a try and I am still having this issue unfortunately.

Do you have old EFI boot variables set as primary boot options? Post to the thread:

efibootmgr

Maybe not related, but you never know: your BIOS was last updated in 2016.

I was able to solve it using this command thank you!!! I realized my bootable usb was shown in the output above as well as my external hard drive that I always have plugged in. I decided to try to unplug both drives and reboot and I had a successful first boot!! i tried rebooting two more times and had successful boots as well. Thank you guys for your help, much appreciated!!
