I honestly have no idea what’s going on. Drive is installed fine. Two seperate brands, two seperate drives, they clearly show up in UEFI and as devices Garuda knows about.
But for some reason it can’t make a partition table… [2/2]
Update: After a reboot, it seems the M.2 doesn’t exist!
Gparted can’t see it, and neither can Garuda.

If you start the live iso ..pls don’t change the layout / timezone or what ever.
Use grub2 option (ventoy) and only start with open driver. (iso from 250308)
To test: use another iso (example garuda-dr460nized-gaming-linux-zen-250626.iso)
This iso comes with a new hardware detection tool. I also tested the ISO → grub2 option
and “only” open driver is no longer necessary. It works well on my test system.
Okay, so.
Without changing the timezone, display layout, or any other options:
I boot’d into the ISO you linked with the new hardware detection tool.
I ran the Installer.
It successfully detected the M.2 Drive.
The installer failed to create the partition on the drive, as before.
Also, the performance on this Liveboot is significantly lower framerate than the previous one. Not super relevant but figured I’d mention it.
Then,sorry your MB / nvme port is not function right. (my mind)
If possible test with sata hdd or sdd.
Only this inside bios:
set to - x8+x8
Cleaning the nvme port (but be carefull with this, with air + fine brush) can also be a option.
(if, ground-yourself, about heating pipes in your home, due to static charging before you doing this, the same if your work inside the case)
Not sure if you tried this bit reset your bios back to default .
Then check fast boot is off and secure boot,and in achimode
Then check that your bios is seeing the drive
Alright, we’re back! And further.
If this needs to be a new thread, I can make one but seeing as this already has all the context I’ll post here.
So after some thinking and fiddling, I got further.
As it turns out, leaving the machine off for 9 hours makes the drive visible again (I don’t know that it had to 9 hours, that was just the length of time I left for work)
What I’ve done is use gparted to split the 2TB M.2 Drive into three sections.
I than ran the garuda dr460nized iso from earlier, and ran it’s install tool.
AND IT WORKED (sorta).
The Installer finishes and reports no errors.
However it sure as heck doesn’t make the drive show up in my UEFI Boot Priority list.
IDK how to fix this, I don’t know that what I did actually worked…
But this feels closer to a solution and hopefully indicates I’m just a fool and not broken hardware…

It’s working now!
As expected, the problem is that I am a fool who knows nothing.
(For those playing along at home, see if you can spot the error quicker than I can.)
So because the installer had been failing to set up the 2TB drive correctly, I figured I’d just use gparted to partition the drive myself and then just let Garuda take it from there.
So at first, in order to see if I could get the drive at all working, I formatted the whole thing to exFAT (because that was pretty likely to work). Once that was working, I deleted the big partition and redivided it into smaller btrfs partitions (three of them to be precise). Then I ran the Garuda Installer, and it seemed to work. Except, as seen above, no work 
So begin googling, see if I can find other people having problems getting their OS’ boot drive to appear. Come to discover that the actual boot partition (the 300MB at the beginning) MUST be formatted as FAT32! (Spot the issue yet?)
I still had it formatted as exFAT, and thus UEFI went “IDK what that is” and decided it wasn’t a valid boot partition.
Changed it back with gparted to FAT32, reran the Mokka Installer, and everything seems to be working now and the PC is now going through setup.
I want to give a big thank you to everyone involved! Y’all have been super kind and helpful, answering questions and suggesting fixes. I probably would have just given up if y’all hadn’t been so good :3

The good thing about… you learned a lot and this mistake will never happen to you 
And we learned.. show us lsblk -fs + efibootmgr …sorry lol…but more important is that you find the solution self.
