Error while loading shared libraries: libboost_program_options.so.1.80.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Hello! I am trying to install a few programs from their .sh files. I am using making them executable with chmod +x and then running them but receiving the error in the title. I am very new to Linux and I was unable to find a solution online that applied to me.
I appreciate any help you can offer.

I don't quite understand what you mean here, could you please explain it?
I have had this error with installing several apps, I know that it is an issue with my system and not the developers.
I've updated my system and the issue persists

Look in your .sh files for your few apps.
If the script asks for old libraries it will not work, change the script or ask the developers.
