Try tomorrow again

It seems the package needs to be updated on AUR.
Can’t build it right now due to:

error: target not found: pacman<6.1

Probably Yay and Paru will need to be rebuilt against the new Pacman too.

paru did update together with pacman just fine here, paru-2.0.3-1 it is

Nice one, that was a quick turnaround in the Chaotic repo because they only just updated the AUR PKGBUILD a little while ago.

https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/commit/PKGBUILD?h=paru

That Chaotic repo is a beast!

This issue is specific to libpamac-aur.
Paru is solved.
I think libpamac-aur is updated upstream to work with the new pacman but the AUR package must be updated to 11.6.4 upstream.
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libpamac-aur
Updated a few minutes ago.
This version should work.

My solution

OK it seems to be still broken.

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing pacman (6.1.0-3) breaks dependency 'libalpm.so=13-64' required by aur-check-updates

Ok, but I think that’s a separate package, for sure to be updated in the AUR.

It’s pamac

LANG=C sudo pacman -S pamac-aur libpamac-aur

Yea Still half asleep cause I should have realized just to remove aur-check-updates and do the updates.

It looks like that the packages have been rebuilt in the aur and update resumes as normal
