Error message when connecting to internet

I receive the following error message when I click connect after highlighting my wireless service:

CMST warning
We received a DBUS reply message indicating an error.
Error Name: net connman Error not registered
Error Message: Not registered

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since I've used Connman and I never used it long enough to learn it's inner workings that well.

Just a guess you might want to try the "agent on" command.

See:

Read the section "Connecting to a protected access point"

Wish I could be more help, but I never spent a ton of time using connman and my memory is hazy at this point.

Thanks tbg, I'll have a read of that section.

I'm now getting this error:

Method "Connect with signature" on interface "net.connman.Service" doesn't exist

Yes, I would assume that's because it's missing your credentials (password).

These errors are produced because the agent is not running. Start the agent from a connmanctl prompt with "agent on".

It's all highlighted in the section I linked on the Connman entry in the Archwiki.

In the terminal, I typed "connmanctl". then I typed "scan wifi", and received the folling error:

Error /net/connman/technology/wifi: no carrier
