Each time I log in the wallpaper has changed, hoping to stop that from happening!

Hi all, loving Garuda Qtile edition so far, but each time I log in it's changed my wallpaper, a minor thing to be sure but I'd like to make it stop.

I have looked in various dotfiles and looked through the installed programs to no avail!
I thought it might be something like variety but can't find that either.
I've installed Nitrogen and set to --restore on log in but whatever is setting random wallpapers is overriding that too

Anyone else had this issue? and if so did you find a solution?

I'm guessing I don't need to provide inxi -Faz results for this particular issue? :stuck_out_tongue:

All the best,

Paul

P.S. I've already spent an hour or so past my bedtime trying to fix this so I'll check back in the morning. (UK time, going up for 2am here)

Where is your wallpaper stored? Are you sure it is available on startup?

Have you checked Archwiki?

Feh is used to change the wallpaper. You can change it in ~/.config/qtile/scripts/autostart.sh

So it looks like maybe something is taking precedence over the autostart script? I've made some changes (commented out feh and commented IN nitrogen) and it's not loading a wallpaper.

I installed nitrogen of course. No big deal, just thought I'd mention it.

What you mean? If you comment feh then you can use anything else you want to set wallpaper.
