Dual Monitor issue with Gnome-Display not joining/mirroring

I have an external monitor which I would like to use as a secondary monitor.
I am using NVIDIA proprietary drivers.
The display is being recognized without problem but when I click on Join displays/Mirror in the gnome-setting, it does not do anything.
I also set Display handling in gnome-tweaks to span multiple displays.

I have been struggling to set this up for a while.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using wayland session or Xorg?

Please never post pictures on a technical help request when terminal outputs have been requested. I am currently only on my cell phone and I can not read outputs from a pic properly on my phones small screen with poor vision.

Regardless of readability, pictures can not have errors or other important content pasted into an internet search engine to find answers to your problem.

Please go back and edit your outputs from picture to proper textual code block formatting. Help requests that don't have proper readable/searchable outputs posted tend to receive little assistance on our forum. Users that post the required information properly tend to get attended to first as top priority for assistance here.

Your cooperation is appreciated, thank you.

I have no Gnome experience, so can’t understand the terminology.
Nevertheless, it seems (xrandr) the external monitor is not connected.
Try to enable it, no matter how (mirror, extend etc.)
You may also try with xrandr, but try first with Gnome Settings GUI.
Give feedback, including your Xorg log, wherever that is, checking with the time-stamp. (use web-bin service, like PrivateBin)
Logs can be in these paths

/var/log/Xorg.?.log{,.old}

I meant Gnome settings GUI.
When I click on Apply, it just switches to single display as it was before.

And, my monitor(BenQ) is being recognized in the GUI.

Logs

Futhermore, when using Arandr to set up the Displays, I got
xrandr: Configure crtc 4 failed error

It seems you are not alone with this

Maybe try linux-lts kernel.

Alright, I did install linux-lts kernel and opening it.
But now I am presented with a new problem, i.e, the loading screen is stuck at 'Loading initial ramdisk'.
SIgh.
But it boots fine with the default kernel

Have you studied the discussion in Arch forum? Try to verify if it is the same issue, checking what the reporting users post.

Are you able to set your resolution to 640x480 using xrandr?

Well, I actually tried reinstalling it, and I chose free drivers by mistake, and now, suddenly, it starts working perfectly.
The dual monitor works with free drivers.
I'll try with nvidia drivers again and let you know
