Hello all,
When i was testing the live image of the new version I had noticed that the window decoration had a color around the windows (you can see the photo under the editions from the site), after upgrading the system I cannot find any options to change it to show like how it was on the live imagine.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
Hi yiannisp,
did you checked System Settings–>Window Managment → Rounded Corners is ticked ?
ps which Version you used? The Garuda inxi would help us to see it

If I understand what you mean, that could be probably the panel colorizer, which creates a border aronud the widgets on the panel when a window is maximized or anyway touches the panel.
If you right click on the panel you should be able to configure it.
It was updated today, so maybe a reboot or logoff could help.
here you are

Thank you for your time
I am not speaking about the widgets I am speaking about the window border (eg. in konsole or dolphin)
Thank you for your answer though.

Reboot and then check this:
In case you have not installed it:
sudo pacman -S kwin-effect-rounded-corners-git

Interesting. Almost impossible to say the least since it’s par of the Dr460nized ISO itself.
https://gitlab.com/garuda-linux/tools/iso-profiles/-/blob/master/garuda/dr460nized/Packages-Desktop?ref_type=heads#L31
Since you installed from Live ISO and noticed it was there, something happened just before or during your “system upgrade”. It is not a package that uninstalls itself.
But anyway it is fixed and it was easy, that’s what we care about.

He only tested the new Broadwing live.iso, but Bird of Prey is installed:
And kwin-effect-rounded-corners-git
did not come via update. It’s the same for me, that’s why I suspected this.

Oh, now I see the pattern, yes when Rounded-Corners was added to Dr460nized it was not for already installed systems, as it plays with $HOME config files which we usually don’t do.
