Dracut[E]: Module problem

This is more of a heads up then asking for help as you can see I’m on Catchy kernel but lts an zen have been having the same build error with dracut which is under the inxi.

The update finishes but, yeah the module errors out. tpm2-tss is installed just fine on the system. As for systemd-pcrphase not sure how to check on that.

All I really know is I’ve seen this error since 6.9.4. but yep just a heads up.

Already have a thread on this. Basically just a warning that its trying to load a module that it can’t (TPM related). The warning is nothing to worry about, it is just being verbose.

You can omit the module to stop getting the error. Set up a configuration file in /etc/dracut.conf.d, for example with an editor like Micro:

sudo micro /etc/dracut.conf.d/omit-pcrphase.conf

Paste into the file:

omit_dracutmodules+=" systemd-pcrphase "

Save and exit the file, then regenerate the initramfs images.

sudo dracut-rebuild

I’ll do that, I forgot that was a thing haha.
